Memorial for Harold Burson With great sadness, we report the death of one of the most generous supporters of the Foundation, Harold Burson. He helped shape the first days of our work in gender-specific medicine, and continued to guide us through the following three decades as our program solidified and gained international recognition. He came to each of our galas, bringing with him his usual enthusiasm, charm and commentary on what we were doing. Harold’s move to his beloved Mississippi at the end of his life left us bereft; we wished we could have seen him more frequently but we chatted often. As always, he enjoyed recounting his ideas for courses at “Ole Miss” and, when we last spoke, his plans for his 100th birthday celebration- a plan that sadly was never realized. For the details of his remarkable life and achievement, read the New York Times obituary.
