Dr. Magdalena Lombardi Plasilova’s journey to becoming a Yale fellowship-trained oncoplastic breast surgical oncologist is marked by passion, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. As an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, she specializes in advanced minimally invasive and oncoplastic techniques. With an MD and a PhD in molecular and stem cell biology from Charles University in Prague, Dr. Plasilova is also deeply involved in research on artificial intelligence, cancer tumor biology, and early cancer detection. Fun fact: She was a member of the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team of the Czech Republic!
